"A continuation of my 'Angels At Play' series, SINNER/SAINT is accepting the conflicted inner self by being aware of one’s intentions, to do good or bad, to live on the edge or play it safe, to give in to anger or pursue happiness, and so on."
- Tyler
Tyler Whitlock is a self-taught artist from Abingdon, VA. Drawing on influences ranging from the Old Masters to modern forms of digital and street art, his patented “glitch collage” style presents a storyboard of distorted imagery in an effort to challenge the viewer’s perspective on both a visual and emotional level. Tyler's work regularly comments on sociopolitical issues and addresses topics of power, hypocrisy, and the human condition.
He has exhibited internationally with solo and group shows in Hong Kong, as well as around the U.S., including at Miami Art Week, New York City, Jersey City, Cleveland, Charlotte, and Asheville and his art appears in many private residences throughout the U.S. and abroad.
