Liz Slome was raised and currently lives and works in New York. She studied graphic design and spent many years as a professional designer. Now, the majority of her time is spent as an acrylic painter.
"My paintings are a celebration of the creativity in the photos and fashion trends we have seen and continue to see throughout popular culture. My paintings represent a youthful and carefree daydream and distract from the seriousness of everyday life. I often incorporate bright, neon colors into my paintings to set a lighter tone and bring attention to the joy we can get from the images that surround us."
