Maura O’Connor is from Highland Mills, New York. She has a BFA from Montserrat College of Art with a major in Illustration and a minor in Art History. Working with watercolor, Maura enjoys the challenge of focusing on color, light, and natural elements in her illustrations. Her work is strongly influenced by folk music, mythology, a childhood of pulling weeds in her fathers vegetable garden and summers spent picking tomatoes on Highland Farms in Hamilton, New York. She currently lives in Beverly, Massachusetts.
