Paul Rentler is an artist, musician and photographer living and working in Columbus Ohio. His work is a mix of collaged images and textures. He uses a combination of printmaking, screen printing and fine art painting techniques. Paul also freelances for DC Comics working on My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way's imprint "Young Animal," and titles "Doom Patrol," "Mother Panic" and more. He also plays in the band Surfer.
"At some point it became fun to take more recognizable elements from all the stuff that was branded upon us in the 80s and 90s and play with it, twist it around a bit. If I made myself chuckle, or made something feel weird....it became a more rewarding piece to make."
